Bonfires, Boots, and Pumpkins

What could be more inspiring then THIS season upon us right now?!?

It comes chock full of fun, layered outfits complete with all the colors of fall. Robust oranges, and cozy browns, mixed with an awesome pair of riding boots can put a smile on any girls face.

And not only is there so many accessories you can put on yourself to enjoy the autumn months… but why not decorate your house as well? From pumpkins to funky looking gourds, leaves, candles, and of course the most colorful ribbon you can find you can dress up your front step or your living room…and in this case the more accessories the better! You can never have too many leaves in the living room…unless your dog tracked them in of course…

Mmhmmm and don’t even get me started on the RECIPES!!!!!

1. Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars. WHAT!?!? You say…yea…You heard it right. These decadent treats take only 30 mins to bake… and probably go down in 2 seconds.

2. Mini Pumpkin Cheesecakes. If you are anything like me you know that autumn is not complete without at least one pumpkin flavored item each week.

3. Apple Ice Cream bowls… a simple “Wow. Why didn’t I think of this?” item. Because it is just what the picture shows… hollow out an apple… scoop vanilla ice cream (or whichever one is your favorite) and top with caramel sauce. Easy as Pie.

And last but not least… because this is primarily an art blog… the following is the part of fall that most inspires me.

The beautiful color changing canvas of New England.

Now go outside…enjoy some autumn moments of your own and don’t let this fleeting season go by without dressing for the impeccable weather, painting a magnificent scene of the changing leaves, or indulging in a fall-inspired dessert.
